Vancouver-Mount Pleasant

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vancouver-Mount Pleasant is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada. It was one of only two electoral districts to return an NDP MLA in the 2001 election when the NDP was nearly wiped off the electoral map, and it did so by a much wider margin than Vancouver-Hastings, the other seat to return a New Democrat. Vancouver-Mount Pleasant is therefore considered the safest New Democrat seat in all of British Columbia.
