Vance Juano Bedford (b. August 20, 1958 in Beaumont, Texas) is an American football coach. On February 26, 2008, the University of Florida announced his hiring as defensive backs coach under Urban Meyer. Most recently he served as defensive backs coach under Lloyd Carr at the University of Michigan. He served in that same position for six seasons with the Chicago Bears, and also served two seasons as defensive coordinator at Oklahoma State University-Stillwater.
Bedford is a 1984 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He also briefly played for the NFL's St. Louis Cardinals in 1982.
