Van Phillips

Vanslow "Van" Phillips (born 27 March 1972) is an English golfer. He turned professional in 1993 and in 1996 he won the Interlaken Open on the second tier Challenge Tour. His first full season on the European Tour was 1997. In 1999 he won the Portuguese Open, but he has struggled to hold onto his tour card, and has had to spend some of his timeback on the Challenge Tour. At one time he regularly played in shirt and tie as part of a sponsorship deal. In 2006 he won the Mauritius Open.
