Van Conner (b. March 17, 1967 in Apple Valley, California) is an American bass guitarist. He grew up in Ellensburg, Washington.
In 1984 he founded Screaming Trees with his older brother Gary Lee Conner and friends Mark Lanegan and Mark Pickerel.
Conner has played with several bands over the last 20 years and is currently playing with his band VALIS.

Conner currently resides in Stanwood, Washington with his wife, Jill and their four children. He works at Boeing in the Seattle area. Conner's brother-in-law is TAD bassist Kurt Danielson.
