[edit] A sequel to John Carpenter's Vampires?

Why does everyone think this movie is a sequel to John Carpenter's Vampires and John Carpenter Presents Vampires: Los Muertos? This movie doesn't have John Carpenter's name on it and it doesn't refer to the previous two movies anywhere that I'm aware of. Where does it say that this movie is part of the same series as the previous two?

I've confirmed that this is not a sequel as it has a completely different vampire origin story. I've editied this page.

They think it's a sequel because for some reason it's included in a DVD box set with the John Carpenter movies.--MythicFox 10:31, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
