Valter Matošević (born June 11, 1970) is a Croatian team handball player at the goalkeeper position. Since 2007 he plays for the Spanish club Portland San Antonio.
Matošević was a member of the Croatian national team that won gold Olympic medals two times: at the 1996 Summer Olympics and at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
