Valpoi is a city and a municipal council in North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa.

As of 2003 India census[1], Valpoi had a population of 7913. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Valpoi has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 83%, and female literacy is 72%. In Valpoi, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Valpoi is small and beautiful town.It has Hanuman temple situated in the heart of the town.
