Valpaços (pron. IPA: [vaɫ'pasuʃ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 548.8 km² and a total population of 19,154 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 31 parishes, and is located in the district of Vila Real.
The present Mayor is Francisco Baptista Tavares, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is November 6.
