Valley High School (VHS) is a public school that also offers two widely recognized magnet programs: the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Middle Years Programme; and the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (AOHT) in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A, which is a part of the Clark County School District.

The cornerstone of Valley High School was laid in 1965 and construction was completed by the fall of the same year. This photograph shows construction on the site in March 1965. Mount Charleston is visible on the western horizon as is the Sahara Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
