Valley Forge High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Valley Forge High School is a high school located in Parma Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. It is one of three high schools in the Parma City School District, which is one of the largest school districts in the State of Ohio, serving the cities of Parma, Parma Heights, and Seven Hills.[1] The school colors are navy blue and white. The school's sports teams are known as the Patriots.
Valley Forge has had a long tradition of educating students in two distinct programs, a college preparatory program and a career preparatory program. In the college prep track, students are required to take a variety of course in the sciences, mathematics, and english. The career prep program is in conjunction with the other high schools in the Parma City School District, and offer students interested in trade industries an opportunity to begin developing their skills early. Valley Forge has a long tradition of offering pre-business programs affiliated with DECA and also a certified automotive technician program.[1]
On March 1, 2008, Valley Forge High School was the site of a Town Hall Meeting by Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama. He spoke to a crowd of 1,300 in the high school's auditorium on topics incuding the foreclosure crisis and health care.

(Tune: "How Can I Leave Thee?")
Ours is a heritage
Living from age to age,
Help us thy honor bear
Through all the years.

Our bond of loyalty,
Always we cherish thee,
Valley Forge High.

Come on and cheer for the Patriots, our
