Vallentuna is a bimunicipal[1] urban area or locality of Sweden which stretches over two municipalities in Stockholm County. The population as of 2000 is 24,755. Vallentuna is also a suburb of Stockholm. The part of the locality which is situated in Vallentuna Municipality is the seat of that municipality. The southern part, situated in Täby Municipality, is called Täby kyrkby.
