Valeriu Gagiu (born May 1, 1938) is an Soviet and Moldavian film director, producer and screenwriter. In 1963 he graduated form the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. Distinguished Artist of Moldova, he was decorated with the (Moldavian) Republican Order in 1996.
