Valerie Wilson (lottery winner)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Valerie Wilson is a Long Island deli worker who twice won a $1,000,000 jackpot in New York State, first in 2002 and then again in 2006.[1] According to mathematicians, the odds of one person winning two separate million dollar prizes in New York were less than one in three trillion (although this would be true only if the two "winning" tickets were bought without her buying any other tickets in the four years between them).[2]
