Valeria Vorobieva (born October 13, 1988 in Leningrad) is a Russian figure skater. She competed internationally for Russia on the junior level as a single skater. In 2007, she teamed up with French skater Jerome Blanchard to compete as a pairs team for Russia. As a single skater, Vorobieva was coached by Alexei Urmanov. As a pair skater, she is being coached by Oleg Vasiliev. Vorobieva & Blanchard are incapable of competing internationally because the French skating federation refuses to release Blanchard.
