Valeri Klimov (footballer)

Valeri Alexandrovich Klimov (Russian: Валерий Александрович Климов) born January 31, 1974 is a Russian professional footballer. He currently plays for FC Tom Tomsk, which he is the team captain of. Klimov is a midfielder, who can play either in the centre or on the wings. In Tom he wears a T-shirt with number 3. He joined the club in 2005, in two seasons playing 53 matches and scoring 8 goals.

Before Tom he played in FC Spartak Oryol (1991 - 1992), FC Oryol (1993 - 1994), FC Torpedo Moscow (1995), FC Alania Vladikavkaz (1996), FC Arsenal Tula (1996 - 1999, 2003 - 2004), FC Torpedo ZIL Moscow (2000 - 2001) and FC Rubin Kazan (2002).

He has not yet been capped for Russia national football team.
