Valentin Stocker (born 12 April 1989) is a footballer from Switzerland who currently plays as midfielder in the Swiss Super League for FC Basel.
[edit] Football career
Stocker has came through the ranks at FC Basel and was moved in to the full team ahead of the 2007/08 season after becoming one of the best midfielders in the reserve squad.
He made his European debut for FC Basel in a UEFA Cup tie against Austrian side SV Mattersburg at St. Jakob Park on the 16th August 2007. On the 16th March 2008 he scored his first Super League goal for Basel in a 4-2 loss against FC Sion.
