Valancia is a planned urban community located in south western part of Lahore, Pakistan, adjacent to Wapda Town, Johar Town. It is named after the city Valencia, Spain. Valancia is located on Defence Road, connecting, Multan Road, Raiwind Road, Ferozepur Road and M2 Motorway. It was developed by Pakistan Expatriates Co-operative Housing Society Limited (PECHS). PECHS manages the day to day affairs of Valancia society. PECHS also manages Izmir, Lahore.
Valancia was first planned in the 1990s. But it became more famous in recent property boom after 2000 in Lahore and in Pakistan.
It is notable for its well-landscaped boulevards connecting a balanced mix of single-family detached homes, community and shopping centers.
Valancia also has an extensive system of paved pathways with grade separations over and under the boulevards. Valancia's residential areas are separated into Blocks. Each Block has its own dedicated green areas and play grounds. On its southern side it has access from Defence Road other access is from the Wapda Town.
Valancia covers an area of about 1,000 acres. All infrastructures are in place, which include network of roads, water supply system which draws on the society's own tube well, power and gas supplies, and street lights, telephones. A host of other auxiliaries are also set up, including site horticulture and beautification, parks and playgrounds, mosque, round-the-clock armed security, a quality school of the Beaconhouse Schools System, sports club etc.
PECHS buys electricity from LESCO and sells to the end customers. Therefore, the electricity rates in Valancia are slighty different from LESCO rates.

Valancia is a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood located away from the noise of city. The roads and streets are well paved and the housing society is generally well maintained. The very fact that it is away from city centre, means that residents have to spend a more time travelling to and from their work places.

A community centre has been built to host community functions and gatherings.

Apart from small mosques, a grand Valancia Central Mosque is situated in center of Valancia. Its near to the Valancia Community Centre and cater for religious needs of the local residents.

In addition to residential plots for development by the owners and developers, PECHS has developed constructed ready to move Valencia Homes on 5, 10 and 15 marla plots and are custom designed for expatriate Pakistanis living presently in the Middle East, USA, UK and Europe. These are elegantly designed two-floor housing units offers affordable housing.

Nearest major public hospital is Jinnah Hospital, its 2nd largest in Punjab and its teaching hospital linked to Allama Iqbal Medical College. It is about 15 minutes drive from Valancia.
Other major nearest hospital is Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre built by Cricketer turned Politician Imran Khan.
Apart from many private clinics, Doctors Hospital, one of Lahore's famous private hospitals, is just ten minutes drive from Valancia.

Lahore's premier transport company, Daewoo, operates a bus service to Valancia, connecting it to Lahore city centers. Daewoo buses are luxury, air-conditioned vehicles. This provides residents of Valancia a means of reliable, convenient and economical local transport service.
Other mode of commuting remains private cars and bikes.
