Valdosta Regional Airport (IATA: VLD, ICAO: KVLD) is a public airport located 3 miles (5 km) south of Valdosta, in Lowndes County, Georgia, USA. The airport has 3 runways. After the completion of runway 17/35 in the summer of 2007, Valdosta now has the 3rd longest runway in the state of Georgia (excluding military bases). 1st is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and 2nd is the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. It is mostly used for general aviation, but is also served by one commercial airline.
