Valday, type of motor ships; the big dry cargo "river-sea" ships, which have three covered holds, with double boards and double bottom, with machine compartment and superstructure in the rear part. Ships are intended basically for carrying of general and bulk cargoes, containers and timber.
Since 2002 10 units of this type are to be built.
Series of the type "Valday" are built on order of North-Western Shipping Company.
