I won't lay hands on the article because of my different language background, but referring to both the German page on the subject and my own knowledge of the concept (mostly based on Booz, Allen & Hamilton 1995: “Zukunft Multimedia : Grundlagen, Märkte und Perspektiven in Deutschland”, IMK, Frankfurt a. M.), VAS are not limited to the mobile phone market and represent a significantly more fundamental concept: That of any service connected to a principal good, whether material or immaterial.
