[edit] ISBN Error

On the subject of the invalid ISBN for the Redbridge book, I have emailed the author to enquire of the correct ISBN. If necessary, I will visit a local public library to look at a copy of the book in question. If I resolve the issue I will make an amendment here. Quartic 31 March 2007

I have - at last - spoken to the author (yesterday). The London Borough of Redbridge were issued with a block of ISBNs with incorrect check digits, I understand. The local library service is aware of this problem I am told, but without any timetable for a correction. (I tested the ISBN at the site "Bookbutler") Quartic (talk) 13:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Is this the cricket ground?

CricketArchive lists a Valentine's Park, Ilford (with an apostrophe). Is this the same place? Loganberry (Talk) 00:18, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes. The Wiki entry for Valentines Park (in the use of the apostrophe) was brought into line with current usage as demonstrated in the Geographer's Master Atlas of Greater London. The cricket ground is in one corner of the park near the junction of The Drive with Cranbrook Road. Quartic (talk) 01:22, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
