Vaishno Academy

Vaishno Academy is a film production company and a film studio setup by Puri Jagannadh.
In 2002, Vaishno Academy produced its first trendsetter, Idiot. It created records at box office and later was remade into Tamil, and Hindi. In 2003, Vaishno Academy produced two super-hits, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi & Shivamani 9848022338. In 2004, Vaishno Academy produced critically acclaimed 143 (and I Miss You). The film didn't do well at box office. However in 2006, not only was Pokiri went on to become grosser out of all of Vaishno Academy's films, but also out of the 75 years of Telugu Cinema.
Actors and actresses such as Mahesh Babu, Ileana D'Cruz, Prakash Raj, Ravi Teja, Asin Thottumkal, Jayasudha, Nagendra Babu, Rakshitha, Sayaji Shinde, and Akkineni Nagarjuna have been a part of at least one of Vaishno Academy's motion pictures.
