Vainikkala

Vainikkala is a small village in Lappeenranta South Karelia, Eastern Finland. Vainikkala is known as a border town between Finland and Russia. All the trains that go from Finland to Russia stops at Vainikkala border post before entering to Finland.From Lappeenranta center to Vainikkala is about 30 km. Population of Vainikkala is 400. The Finnish railways are the biggest employer in Vainikkala.
