Venur Dhananjay Kumar is a former Union minister of state of India and a Former Member of Parliament.He was only cabinet minister from south India in the first ministry of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1996. Later he was minister of state for Finance and textiles in Atal Bihari Vajpayee ministry.He was elected to Lok Sabha thrice from Mangalore in Karanataka as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is lawyer by profession.
