[edit] Bot Question
Actually, my understanding was the opposite, namely, that nearly all usertalk templates should be subst'ed. Check out WP:SUBST. It's a matter of server load. Regards, alphaChimp(talk) 12:28, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Antikatheria mechanism
Could you please hold off editing this for an hour or so? I'm in the middle of major cleanup and edit conflicts are causing me grief! Thanks! SteveBaker 15:35, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I don't want to steal away your barnstar. You was the first who started it, so it's your job. :) Feel free to tell me if you get bored and need someone else to finish the job. --V. Szabolcs 15:39, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

- Many thanks! (It wasn't the barnstar - I already have enough of those. It was just that the article has a ton of good information in it - but it was a total mess and REALLY needed fixing!) I was doing these gigantic edits and edit conflicts were killing me! Anyway - I'm done - although there are definitely still some improvements that could be made. - Citing sources
See Wikipedia:Citing sources/example style for a few examples. On that page we are so far basically just inserting: <ref>{{cite web| url=http://urlofwebsite.com| title=Title of website| accessed=October 9, 2006}}</ref> after the information to be cited (that is, in-line with the text). If you do that it will automatically show up at the end and with a numbered footnote. So if I were citing CNN.com for some fact, here, I would do the following.[1] That should show up as a little footnote number here, and if you had a <references/> tag somewhere on the page you would see the actual citation.
