[edit] Its a vanity article

This article has notibility issue

  • The claim is not substantiated and the NPOV tag should be removed. Budfin 10:05, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The subject is well known for his novel and substantive contributions in the field of astrology.

  • As the article makes clear, he has been recognised as such. There is plenty of notability. The POV tag is not warranted and should be removed. Ramayan 07:08, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
    • The allegation to mark this article with a “Non-Neutral Point of View” is unfounded. As there is plenty of notability, the POV sticker should be removed. Jorge Angelino 08:53, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Third-party sources

The following books published by unrelated authors containing reference to SA texts confirm the notability: 1. Denis Laboure, 1999, "Astrologie Hindoue", Guy Tredaniel Editeur, Paris, France. 2. Richard Houck, 1997, "Hindu Astrology Lessons", Groundswell Press, Gaithersburg, MD, USA. 3. Dr. Ashwinie Kumar Bansal, 2003, "Design Your Baby", Ethnic India Publications, New Delhi, India. 4. Komilla Sutton, 1999, "The Essentials of Vedic Astrology", The Wessex Astrologer Ltd., Bournemouth, England. 5. Translations of a number of books on SA astrology in Portugese by Mr. Jorge Angelino, including: V.K. Choudhry, 2005, "Astrologia Védica", Editora Pergaminho, Rua da Alegria, Alcabideche, Portugal. Additionally, there have been numerous published articles dealing with SA astrology in e.g. USA, UK, France and India. Given this confirmation the tag for "reliable sources" is removed. Ramayan 22:40, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, it would be more useful if you actually enter the sources in the article with citation tags on the facst that they support, including the mentioned unnamed articles and also sources for the awards. --Tikiwont 08:30, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

The edit comment with which you have removed the tag [1] misses the point. Verifiability is a requirement for all articles here and certainly not a personal request by me or specifically for this arctile. The tagged section listed 11 awards without any citation. Such content is not warranted, and the alternative is not the removal of the tag, but rather of the unsourced assertions, until someone is actually willing and able to add references for them. --Tikiwont 09:23, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
