Víctor Manuel Román y Reyes

Víctor Manuel Román y Reyes (1873 – 1950) was President of Nicaragua from 1947 to 1950. He was considered to be a puppet of former president Anastasio Samoza Garcia, the commander of the army, and was a member of Samoza’s Liberal Nationalist Party. His Vice-President was Mariano Argüello Vargas, a former Foreign Minister and President of the Senate.
