"Seaside battles at the end of Nordic Seven Years' War in the 1670s was the last combat on Västergötland soil."
This is hardly true, since the Nordic Seven Years' war was between 1563 and 1570. Did the battles take place in another war in the 1670s or during the 1560s?

I am removing the cross flag image, since [1] makes it clear that it applies to another, overlapping, region. (And besides, I have never seen this flag despite having lived here all my life, so I don't think it would have deserved that prominent place anyway. The yellow/black coat-of-arms is much more recognized.) JöG 08:49, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
