Vâlcele (Romanian: Vâlcele; Hungarian: Előpatak) is a commune in Covasna County, Romania comprising of 4 villages:
- Araci/Árapatak
- Ariuşd/Erősd
- Hetea/Hetye
- Vâlcele/Előpatak

The commune has an ethnically mixed population. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 3,698 of which 48.08% or 1,778 are Roma, 36.7% or 691 are Romanians and 14.95 or 553 are Székely Hungarians.
