Uwe Köller (born 1964 in Neuss, Germany) is a German trumpeter, well known for his cross-over style.
Köller studied classical trumpet with teacher Rodney Miller in Düsseldorf, Pierre Thibaud in Paris, France and was scholarship holder at Herbert-Karajan foundation, taught by Martin Kretzer. In 1988 he became the principal trumpeter at Berlin Symphony Orchestra, and in 1991, the principal trumpeter of German Opera Berlin. Since 1997 he has been professor for trumpet at the University of Music in Graz, Austria, as well as a teacher at Folkwang Academy in Essen, Germany. Since 1995 he has been a member of German Brass ensemble.
