Please do not remove the {{persondata}} template from articles. The metadata in the template will help to facilitate advanced search capabilities, statistical analysis, and automated categorization of our biographies. To add the name of the article in the message, add it like this: {{subst: uw-persondata | article name| [optional parameters...]}}

This template has the following optional parameters:

  • name of article
  • header - will add a header to the message if you set header=1
  • header-text - specify the text of the header, has no effect unless header=1
