[edit] Asssessment

I have assessed this as Start-class rather than B-class despite having a route description and a history section. For a 67-mile route, the route description is far too short. This is definitely a good start to the article though. -- Kéiryn (talk) 22:34, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

True, but take a look at a map of SR-39 on Google Maps or something. There isn't much to say about the route except it twists and turns through Ogden Canyon. From Huntsville on, which is more than 70% of the route, that's all it does. So how do I improve the route description? CL — 22:38, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Are there any parks, campgrounds, lakes, etc. on that part of the route? I'm assuming that the Ogden River flows through the canyon, given the name of the byway, but this isn't explicitly mentioned. If there really is nothing else to say about that part of the route, then expand on the western portion of the route instead. Ogden's a pretty big town IIRC, so there should be a bunch more to say there. -- Kéiryn (talk) 00:23, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Alright, I will try and take care of this. Thanks - CL — 00:37, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I think I have improved the route description enough to be to B-class. What do you think? CL — 00:54, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I'll toss out my opinions on the article. The lead needs expansion. It needs something to summarize the history section there. The junction list should have the "unincorporated" removed and replaced with non-breaking spaces. There still could be more said in the route description. You're getting closer to B-Class, but it's just not quite there yet. Imzadi1979 (talk) 01:05, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
I checked the B-class guidelines, which state 50-75% of the route description and history should be complete. I think that the route description has at least that, but if not, what more could be said? CL — 23:55, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
I think now, with a 2 paragraph lead, 2-paragraph RD, and 2-paragraph history, the article is a "weak" B. I would still think there's a lot more that could be written about the non-rural parts of the route, but I'm not from or familiar with the area, so it's quite possible that I'm wrong. Good luck maintaining this article in the future. -- Kéiryn (talk) 00:01, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
