[edit] Invite

You are cordially invited to participate in WikiProject Calvinism

The goal of WikiProject Calvinism is to improve the quality and quantity of information about Calvinism available on Wikipedia. WP:WikiProject Calvinism as a group does not prefer any particular tradition or denominination of Calvinism, but prefers that all Calvinist traditions are fairly and accurately represented.

[edit] External links

You'll see that I again deleted your external link from Calvinism because the guidelines on external links indicate that foreign language links should be avoided, and there are already a plethora of links on Calvinism in English. --Flex (talk|contribs) 13:07, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Christian feminism, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Feminism page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Orange Mike 14:16, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inappropriate links

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Christian Reconstructionism. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:19, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

You posted this on my user page (n.b., it should have gone on my talk page):

Hello! I don't know your e-mail. You cordially invited me (Ustref) to participate in WikiProject Calvinism. However my additions are deleted by people. I want to describe Russian theocratic Calvinism in English language citing English resources, e.g. http://toracracy.com. But I see this is prohibited here. Also I want to add new significant material to page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_and_alcohol, but I think it will be deleted too. So please reply to my discussion page.
Ustref

As far as I can tell, your edits did nothing but add a link to toracracy.com to the body of several articles. External linking to any site within the text of the article is usually inappropriate (see WP:CITE and WP:EL). It is not necessarily prohibited that this topic be covered, but you must cover it within the rules of the Wikipedia (BTW, adding an external link is not the same as adding coverage of a topic). See especially WP:NPOV, WP:V, and WP:OR. Note also that your website is probably not considered a reliable source, but even if it were reliable, under WP:EL you should probably not add links to it anyway, though you could ask on article talk pages for others to do so.

As for the material that you want to add to Christianity and alcohol, why do you think it would be deleted? Is it not in conformity with Wikipedia policy?

Please reply here. I've added your talk page to my watchlist. --Flex (talk/contribs) 18:27, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
