Two ships of the United States Navy have been named USS President, after the office of the President of the United States.
- The first President was a 44-gun sailing frigate launched in 1800 and captured by the British in 1815, who took her into service as HMS President.
- The second President was a 12-gun sloop on Lake Champlain, purchased by the War Department and turned over to the Navy in 1812. The sloop was captured by the British in 1814 and taken into the Royal Navy as Icicle.
