USS Mount Vernon

Several ships in the United States Navy have been named USS Mount Vernon for Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington.
- USS Mount Vernon (1859) was built in 1859, purchased in 1861 and sold in 1865.
- USS Mount Vernon (ID-4508) was built as Kronprinzesin Cecilie in 1906, commandeered and commissioned in 1917, and decommissioned by the Navy in 1919. Transferred to the war department as the USAT Mount Vernon.
- USS Mount Vernon (AP-22) was commissioned in 1941 and decommissioned in 1946.
- USS Mount Vernon (LSD-39) was commissioned in 1972 and decommissioned in 2003.
Another Mount Vernon was renamed USS Mount Washington in 1861.
