USS Maury

Four ships in the United States Navy have been named USS Maury in honor of Matthew Fontaine Maury.
- Maury (DD-100) was a Wickes class destroyer during World War I.
- USS Commodore Maury (SP-656), patrol vessel and mine sweeper [1] of World War I.
- Maury (DD-401) was a Benham-class destroyer during World War II.
- Maury (AGS-16) was an Artemis class attack cargo ship during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

- Oceanographic survey ships (T-AGS) support the NAVY's oceanography program. One of the oceanographic survey ships to join the program was named "Maury", delivered 1 April 1989

- USNS Maury (T-AGS 39) was built in 1989 by Bethlehem steel Corporation, Maryland. Designed as an oceanographic survey ship for the [U.S. Navy] , she was named after Lt. [Matthew Fontaine Maury] the father of American oceanography. At that time, the Maury (hull Number 4667) was the largest and fastest oceanographic ship ever built.
- In September 1994, USNS Maury was transferred to the California Maritime Academy by the Navy as a replacement training ship for The California Maritime Academy. She became the training ship Golden Bear (TSGB)
