[edit] 31 September

This statement cannot be true:

"She returned to Seeadler Harbor 31 September."

... as September has only 30 days. I've marked it as "dubious" for now. ~ Booya Bazooka 22:17, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

This is true, it can't possibly be the 31st day of september, however that is the date quoted from the DANFS entry [1]. However many of these entries contain typos and minor errors. It is very likely that it should be the "last day of september" and someone confused the day. I have changed the date to 30th instead, and removed the disputed tag. -- malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 01:32, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Emmons

This statement cannot be true:

"In 1965, Grayson — via stock footage — appeared in Gilligan's Island episode “Forget Me Not” steaming alongside USS Emmons (DD-457), representing U.S. Navy ships looking for the stranded castaways."

... as Emmons was sunk off Okinawa in 1945. ~ mccomb 18:30, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
