[edit] The picture is wrong.

The picture is of the Commodore Perry, not the Commodore Perry. A correctly identified picture can be found at USMHI in the MOLLUS-Mass collection. Apparently someone trusts DANS and NARA captions! The Barney didn't have two pilothouses.
