Usolye-Sibirskoye

Usolye-Sibirskoye (Russian: Усо́лье-Сиби́рское) is a town in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia. It was founded in 1669. From then until 1940 it was known simply as Usolye. Population: 90,161 (2002 Census).
The town is located on the Trans-Siberian railway and on the left bank of the Angara River. Ever since its inception, the main industry of the town has been salt-mining.
