Description
English: A port bow view of the Military Sealift Command oiler Benjamin Isherwood (T-AO-191) tied up at the Norfolk Ship Building and Dry Dock Corporation. The ship is being prepared for long term storage by NORSHIPCO now that the possible plan of converting the vessel to an ammunition ship has been discarded. The guided missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG-60) on the right is under routine overhaul at the NORSHIPCO facility near Norfolk. Location: Elizabeth River, Norfolk, Virginia, United States of America
