Usmate Velate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 25 km northeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,132 and an area of 10.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Usmate Velate contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Corrada, Imparì, Mongorio, Bettolino, and Dosso.
Usmate Velate borders the following municipalities: Casatenovo, Lomagna, Camparada, Carnate, Arcore, Vimercate.
