This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "This is totally unfair. I have signed up for wikipedia with my real name and my real email address. With a purpose of useful contributions. I urge anyone considering this case to read up my contributions to wikipedia and it will be evident from them that I have a positive attitude and my contributions are worth something. I am accused of sockpuppetry on the basis that someone signed his posts with my name (though it must be considered that this is a common name). The person who has blocked my account said, "Comes out of nowehere, signs as you and has personal attacks in the edit summary. Pretty clear to me." What is this? if someone posts insults with my name I will be blocked? Anyone and I mean anyone can do that. Ok I can weather the insult of being blocked for five days, but then someone comes around and blocks me indefinatly. For heaven's sake this is my account with my real name, I have been making most productive contributions and I get blocked for indefinate period of time? I mean this is down right insulting. And all based on what evidence? Someone signed with my name? No one is stupid enought to sign insults with their own name if they are tying to hide. This is my first and only account on wikipedia and it is totally unfair to block such an account indefinately on such week evidence. Also I am a new user and based on my contributions I think I deserve a better treatment. Please consider all this carefully and talk to the people blocking me to be a little more discreet."

Decline reason: "I have requested a checkuser, which will settle the case unequivocally. Please bear with us while this is in process. Note that the attacks by the other user were very serious, so this must be taken seriously. Thank you for your patience."

I have unblocked you; a couple of us have reviewed the evidence and we agree that this was almost certainly a case of mistaken identity. Thank you for your patience, and pleae accept my apologies for the time it took to clear this up.
