A CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter spins its rotors in Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364's working space just before a casualty evacuation mission at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Aug. 31. The Purple Foxes of HMM-364, Marine Aircraft Group 16 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), assumed authority from the Red Dragons of HMM-268 Aug. 29, for providing casualty evacuation, general transportation and raid flights.

Note: The insignia (YQ) on the aft pylon indicates that this is an
aircraft belonging to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 268. These
aircraft are often passed on to the incoming Squadron, instead of
transporting each Squadron's aircraft into and out of theater.
