Notability of Corina (singer)

A tag has been placed on Corina (singer), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. (Written by UsingMyComputer on 2/21/07) What I have written was actually a biography about a early 1990s singer freestyle named "Corina" (Full name: Corina Katt Ayala). The information I have wrote was factual, so I still don't understand why it was deleted. Personally, I love to contribute, but if my dedication of 1 hour edition about a certain music artist was deleted this fast, I don't know whether I should contribute to Wikipedia later on or not... I mean is there a way to retrieve my file? If not, I guess I won't contribute in future... Can anybody answer my questions?
