Can someone describe to me the parameters of the new series tables and what is meant by "survey"? And what does USHBS stand for? United States History Bullshit? ;) jengod 19:26, Mar 17, 2004 (UTC)

Looking around, I saw a lot of really good articles on subjects within U.S. history (United States History By Subject, sorry about the title but it was sort of late : -) ). Anyways, I thought it would be a good idea for these to be organized separately, so that someone could browse through social, economic, religious, etc. aspects of U.S. history without having to cross-reference what they're looking for wtih a particular time period. --Alex S 13:12, 18 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Excellent change, Jengod. --Alex S 01:59, 2 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Any chance we can 86 the timeline? It has its own "incumbent-style" nav tables and doesn't quite fit the standard here...I've been meaning to do a major overhaul but that's a ways off. jengod 02:06, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Musical history

I'm going to overhaul music of the United States in the near future, moving the chronological subarticles to something like musical history of the United States (1960s and 70s), and making the main article more of a summary of different facets of American music. Would a musical history be too specific to add here? Tuf-Kat 02:40, Feb 24, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Years

There is probably some significance to the periods chosen (e.g. 1789–1849), but for us foreigners you may want to explain what that is. E.g. "Abolition - Prohibition" or something. Radiant_* 12:13, May 18, 2005 (UTC)
