[edit] New boxes
I have created simple boxes for Alfred Hitchcock and Buster Keaton; they are on the new boxes page as well as my own page. --Wspencer11 (talk to me...) 17:55, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Man-eating talking plant template
The {{user LSOH}} template was not created in reference to the musical. If you want to create something specific to the 1986 musical, do so. But do not categorize my template as a reference to the musical, which it is not. Just look at the image in the template -- it's from the 1960 original, not the 1986 musical. [edit] Question involving image
I have a design for a box concerning the film Titanic, however, I have not been able to find a suitable image. I have created one from a screenshot of the film, however, I was wondering whether or not it would conflict with Wikipedia's Free-Use policy if I uploaded it. The resolution is 64x64 pixels. Never mind. Did some research, found a better non-rule-violating way. Sorry for the distraction. The Good Ol' Country Doctor 20:41, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Organisation
I've done a fair bit of work improving the organisation of the list of specific films, as it was a bit of a mess with most of the films in a big long list while the Sci Fi section had more detail and a couple of individual films had sub-sections to themselves.
I've moved boxes to the correct genre heading, then created a few new genre headings. I named the original list 'general' so it would indent in line with the other categories. I then added sub-headings to each genre for any film with 3 or more boxes on the page (regardless of the 'notabillity' of the film). this seemed the most sensible criteria. However, I didn't go back and remove headings from existing films with less than three boxes.
With regards how I categorised films by genre, I just checked the linked wiki page for each and read what it said. If you disagree, please feel free to re-categorise as you see fit. Some are hard to pin down, e.g. should Jaws be in horror?
I've tried to put things in alphabetical order where I can, but haven't done all the sections. When I have some time I'll try and come back to that.--ThePaintedOne (talk) 22:52, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
