USER

USER is an international recording artist who earned his chops in the techno-industrial period of the 1990s playing guitar with such notable bands as Atlantic recording artists MOEV (Crucify me, Yeah whatever) and the singer Dean Russell created music project Bacteria.

In 1996, USER recorded Semi-mental Journey in Vancouver, British Columbia. Produced by Brad Macgivern with notable guest musicians drummer Rob Chursinoff (Tegan&Sarah, Ben Lee) and bassist Rich Phiske (Matt Good Band, DSK) includes music video Cyclops which receives national attention through spotlight and rotation on Much Music. Canadian dates follow, Cyclops is also featured on US Comcast network and voted by viewers as top video. Picked up by the UK satellite music show The Pulse used in opening credits.

In 1999, USER created The Last Days of Beauty, engineered by Vincent Jones (Dave Gahan, P.O.D., John Bottomley, Pink, Hoobastank).

Electronic masterpiece Bait was completed in 2000, with international distribution in 2005.

In 2001 Pagans & Anarchists, Half rock/half computer album is completed at Vancouver's historic "Mushroom Studio" produced by "Vincent Jones and Pusher"

In 2002 Hegemonic, a 15 song war rock album, is released, video "Underneath" received large viewing exposure through growing Internet video sites such as Yahoo's Launch.com, MySpace, Videocode Arena, YouTube.

HARP compiled in 2004, is a collection of acoustic songs by USER . An experiment in the digital only album. The songs have DRM (digital rights management) so they can be sold via digital downloads
