Template talk:User fr-0

[edit] Not useful?

This template should really just say "This user understands french with considerable difficulties." There's no point having a babel box for each langage you don't understand at all. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 12:04, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

No because that would mean the editor knows French and a French-speaking person may make the mistake of trying to communicate with them. -PatPeter 02:37, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] April fool's joke

  1. How dare anyone suspect my edits of an April Fool's Joke.
  2. Level -0 language user templates are for people who dont know the language or dont want to learn it, just as similarily level -1 langauge user templates are for beginers and those who want to learn the language.
  3. Why? Why was this userbox in French!?! Only the level -3 users would be able to read it! This is an English Wikipedia, so this userbox should be in English. It makes sense. -PatPeter 21:07, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
The point is that editors to France-related articles who do not speak French be able to tell French speakers that they do not speak French, in French. Therefore, it has to be in French. --tjstrf talk 07:28, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Alright then good show making it French. -PatPeter 02:34, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Colors

I changed the colors because they should reflect the base template {{User en-0}}. -PatPeter 02:34, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
