The 19th USC Libraries Scripter Award, announced on 12 January 2007, honored the best adapted screenplay ("Best Realization of a Book adapted to Film") of 2006 and its screenwriter(s) and author(s).
The University of Southern California (USC) Libraries Scripter Award, founded in 1988, honors the best adaptation of a book to the screen. The 2007 award ceremony will be held February 18, in USC's historic Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library.
