Madrona WAGL 302

The USCGC MADRONA (WLB 302) [1]was a 180 foot (55 m) seagoing buoy tender. Her last home port was Charleston, South Carolina. She was decommissioned on April 14, 2002. The USCGC OAK (225' buoy tender) has taken her berth in Charleston. MADRONA and her sister ships, commonly referred to as "one-eighties", served as the backbone of the Coast Guard fleet for over 50 years before their replacement by the newer Juniper-class cutters.

Currently, the former Coast Guard cutter serves in the Navy of El Salvador.
